MoonPay step by step instructions

MoonPay is a great option for transferring cryptocurrencies quickly and securely to and from your Bookmaker account.

To get started, simply download the MoonPay app from Google Play or the App Store and enter your email address to create your account.

 

ADDING FUNDS TO MOONPAY

The first time you are adding funds, you will need to link a payment option.

1. Select the Settings option in the top right corner
2. Choose Payment methods
3. Choose either Debit or Credit card, PayPal or Venmo and follow the steps to link the method
   • Or, if you already have funds in your MoonPay balance you can use these to purchase crypto

 

Next, back on the home screen, follow these steps:

1. Tap the USD option below Assets (after funding, this will be displayed as 'MoonPay Balance')
2. Select Top up *
3. Enter the amount and hit Confirm top up

*If this is the first time you are funding your account, at this point you will be asked to verify your identity by entering the requested information. This only needs to be done once.

 

 

BUYING CRYPTO

Now that your MoonPay balance has funds, you are ready to purchase the Crypto of your choice.

1. From the home screen, tap the + Buy icon 
2. Select the type of cryptocurrency you want
3. Hit the Buy button
4. Enter the amount and tap Continue
5. On the next screen, confirm the order by tapping Pay with MoonPay Balance

 

NOTE! Purchases may take around 20 minutes to be approved.

DEPOSITING TO YOUR BOOKMAKER ACCOUNT

Now that you have crypto available, you are ready to move funds over to your Bookmaker account. 

First, log in to your Bookmaker account and follow these steps:

1. Open the Cashier
2. Select Deposit
3. Select the type of cryptocurrency (remember this must match a cryptocurrency you have available on MoonPay)
4. Enter the amount to deposit (this must be the exact amount you want to deposit)
5. Claim a bonus (optional)
6. Hit GET ADDRESS
7. Copy this address then return to your MoonPay app

 

Next, from the MoonPay app, follow these steps:

1. From the home screen, tap your available crypto balance for the type of currency you are depositing
2. Tap the (...) menu in the bottom corner
3. Select Send
4. Enter the amount you are depositing and hit Continue
5. Paste the address you copied earlier from the Bookmaker cashier
6. Confirm the information is correct and Swipe to send the funds

IMPORTANT! Before completing the transaction, make sure the address and type of crypto you are sending match each other. In the case of a mismatch, funds will be permanently lost.

 

 

WITHDRAWING FROM YOUR BOOKMAKER ACCOUNT

Making a withdrawal from BookMaker to MoonPay is quick and easy.

Starting on your MoonPay app, take these steps:

1. From the home screen, tap the Deposit button
2. Copy your personal crypto address by tapping the copy icon next to the type of cryptocurrency you want to withdraw from BookMaker

 

Now, go to your BookMaker account and:

1. Open the Cashier
2. Select Withdraw
3. Choose Bitcoin
4. Choose the amount
5. Paste the Bitcoin address you had copied from MoonPay
6. Hit Verify Withdraw
7. Request the code to your mobile phone to confirm the payout

It normally takes only 2-3 hours for your withdrawal to be sent, but may take up to 48 hours in some rare cases.
