Kraken step by step instructions

To get started with Kraken, just download the app from your App Store or Google Play Store. If this is the first time you're using the app, you will need to create an account and answer a few verification questions.

ADDING BITCOIN TO KRAKEN

To add Bitcoin to your Kraken app, just follow these steps:

1. From the home screen, tap Deposit
2. Select the type of crypto you would like to add (for example Bitcoin)
3. Select the crypto network
4. Read the instructions *be sure to select the correct type of crypto you will be sending
5. Copy your unique address

With the address copied, you can then visit any other app where you have a crypto balance available and move those funds over to Kraken. 

Instructions on how to do this can be different across apps, but basic steps include accessing the section of the app which holds your crypto balance, locating the Send or Withdraw option, and pasting the address you copied from Kraken.

You can also choose to withdraw funds from your BookMaker account:

1. Open the Cashier
2. Select Withdraw
3. Choose Bitcoin
4. Choose the amount
5. Paste the Bitcoin address you had copied from your Kraken account
6. Hit Verify Withdraw
7. Request a verification code to your mobile phone or email to confirm the payout.

DEPOSITING TO BOOKMAKER

When you have crypto n available in your Kraken account, you can deposit it directly to your BookMaker account by following these steps:

1. Open the Cashier
2. Select Deposit
3. Select Bitcoin
4. Enter the amount to deposit (this must be the exact amount you want to deposit)
5. Claim a bonus (optional)
6. Hit Get Address
7. Copy your address

Now return to the Kraken app and follow these instructions:

1. Tap the Transfer button
2. Select Withdraw
3. Choose the type of crypto from among your available balances
4. Select the network
5. Enter the amount and tap Add new address
6. Paste the address you had copied from Bookmaker
7. Hit Continue

CONVERTING CRYPTO TO CASH

We recommend converting your crypto to cash as quickly as possible to avoid any loss due to a drop in the coin's value. 

Below are the steps for doing this, and also for withdrawing the funds to your bank.

1. From the home screen, select Trade
2. Select Sell
3. Choose the crypto type
4. Enter the amount
5. Hit Confirm

Your funds will instantly be converted to cash. You can leave them in your Kraken balance, or move them to a bank account as follows:

1. Hit Portfolio at the bottom of your screen
2. Choose your Cash balance
3. Select Withdraw
4. Enter the amount
5. Select your banking info, or Add new bank account details *this must be done the first time you are withdrawing
6. Once your bank details are entered, confirm the withdrawal.
