|This article applies to Pre-Game betting. For Live Betting rules, please see the article here: Basketball Live Betting official game times|
Bets on the full game are considered official once the game reaches the point when there are only 5 minutes remaining.
This will be after 43 minutes of play for NBA
after 35 minutes of play for NCAA or any other League including FIBA, NBA Summer League and WNBA (unless otherwise specified).
Bets on 1st half, 2nd half, or quarters will have action only upon full completion of the half or quarter in question.
If the official time of play is not completed, bets on the spread, total, or moneyline are treated as no action, and all parlay and teaser bets will be reduced accordingly.
The exception is when an outcome has already been determined. For example, if the score has already gone over the total, any bets on the over/under will have action even if the game is subsequently postponed/suspended.
