LibertyX offers conveniently located ATMs, available in over 30,000+ locations across more than 40 states. Using these ATMs, you can buy Bitcoin in person using your debit card, as well as convert crypto back to cash and withdraw it.
ACCOUNT VERIFICATION (FIRST TIME ONLY)
To get started, simply download the app from Google Play or the App Store, then sign up and verify your account. First you will need to enter a few personal details and follow a link that is sent to your email. Once you verify through this link, return to the LibertyX app and tap the Refresh button.
Next, tap the Verify Identity and follow the steps here to complete verification (this step is necessary in order to be able to buy and sell cryptocurrency. This typically only takes about 5 minutes.
BUYING BITCOIN

Important Note: LibertyX lets you buy Bitcoin through ATMs, however the app is not a crypto wallet, meaning you cannot store Bitcoin here. You must have a separate cryptocurrency wallet before proceeding with the next steps. If you do not have one, please visit our section on Exchange Wallets |
From the home screen of your LibertyX app select:
- Buy Bitcoin (tap the Bitcoin logo at the bottom to return here anytime)

Scan the QR or Paste your Bitcoin address
- This is the address from a crypto wallet you own, such as Edge, Cash App, etc. Specific steps vary but typically you will need to select Bitcoin within your wallet and then 'Receive' (or similar) to find and copy your BTC address
- Once you have the address, paste it into the LibertyX app, choose the fee option, then Start Purchase
- Next, enter your zip code, city or exact address to find an ATM location close to you
- Select the location of your choice
- Tap Buy Bitcoin at the top of your screen
- The following screen provides a warning. Tap the Agree and Continue button to proceed
- Your Order Number will now be generated.
Next, on the ATM, follow these steps:
- Select the LibertyX / Bitcoin logo
- Enter the 6 digit order number
- Enter the amount you wish to purchase
- Select Buy Bitcoin
- Insert your debit card and your card's PIN
- Note: credit cards are not accepted, only debit cards!
This completes the process. Remember the Bitcoin is credited to the Exchange Wallet corresponding to the receiving address you provided (not your LibertyX app)
Now that you have Bitcoin in your exchange wallet, you can use it to deposit into your Bookmaker account. Steps for how to do this can be found in the respective wallet guide here:
